Tax and Compliance Accountant

About the role

Finance and Management Consulting is looking for an experienced Tax and Compliance Accountant to join its manufacturing facility in Toumodi. The role focuses on preparing and filing tax and compliance declarations, ensuring the factory operates within Ivorian tax regulations, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic tax declarations, VAT refund declarations, CCA subsidy submissions, Guce reports, Cepici reports, and other sector‑specific compliance filings.
• Generate tax and compliance reports that adhere to current Ivorian tax law.
• Participate in internal and external tax and compliance audits.
• Provide recommendations to minimize tax and compliance risk for the manufacturing operation.
• Ensure the factory remains free from tax‑related exposures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of tax and compliance experience, preferably in manufacturing and export.
• Strong knowledge of Ivorian tax law and ability to interpret it.
• Highly organized, autonomous, and outcome‑oriented.
• Fluent reporting ability in both English and French.
