Business Development Manager – Student Recruitment

About the role

GEDU is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive student recruitment across its study‑abroad programs. The role is remote, based in Ivory Coast, and focuses on building partnerships, increasing enrolments, and supporting revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and create partnerships with new student recruitment agencies and educational providers.
• Assist the team in meeting recruitment targets for each intake.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, recruiting partners, and customers.
• Analyze customer feedback and financial data to improve service quality and profitability.
• Support programme management to maximise enrolment and provide training to new recruiting partners.
• Conduct market research, present offerings to potential partners, and negotiate business deals.
• Provide insights for product development and competitive positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role.
• Ability to travel as needed and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, negotiation and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and business acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
