Chief of Staff

About the role

The Chief of Staff will work directly with the Regional Director for Africa, acting as a strategic partner to shape and execute the region’s overall strategy. This senior position coordinates high‑impact projects, ensures seamless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, and delivers reliable information to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor strategic orientations, including budgets, objectives, roadmaps, and GBS transfers.
• Lead or oversee major strategic projects such as organizational, network, digital transformations, process optimisation, and agency creation or acquisitions.
• Prepare executive committee, board, client review, and cross‑functional steering committee meetings.
• Synthesise data and provide actionable recommendations for leadership decisions.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between the leadership team and operational units.
• Draft presentations, speeches, and communications for the Regional Director.
• Analyse market, operational and financial data to track performance and suggest corrective actions.
• Develop and enhance digital tools for KPI monitoring, market share, client satisfaction, and regional results.
• Manage the Regional Director’s agenda, priorities, and business travel logistics.

Required profile

• Strong academic background (top university degree required).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an international, fast‑paced environment, preferably on strategic projects.
• Background in strategy consulting, corporate development, project leadership, or executive office roles.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis and information‑structuring abilities.
• High cross‑functional coordination skills, diplomacy and political acumen.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality and availability.
