Director, Country Account Management - Cote d'Ivoire

About the role

Mastercard Africa Division is looking for a Director, Country Account Management to be based in Cote d'Ivoire. The role defines a future-focused strategy for the country, builds partnerships with customers, regulators, government and other stakeholders, and acts as the main face of Mastercard with key decision-makers.

Key responsibilities

• Create an inspiring vision and innovative business strategy to accelerate market growth and profitable market share.
• Build partnerships with customers, regulators, government and stakeholders, acting as a thought leader and industry expert.
• Develop the sales pipeline, coordinating with product development and account management teams.
• Represent Mastercard at high level with senior bank executives, country regulatory contacts, marketing and card vendor representatives and third-party processors.
• Analyse customers' existing business through profitability modelling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis, and recommend additional revenue opportunities.
• Develop long-term growth strategies to optimise mutual profitability across debit and credit business lines.
• Work with a virtual team of Mastercard subject-matter experts to articulate value propositions and close new business.
• Develop financial models and business cases for identified opportunities.
• Own the P&L and country goals, driving revenue growth, market share and product diversification.
• Monitor the regulatory framework and ensure compliance.
• Manage the customer contract agreement process, linking resources globally and sharing information.
