Agent Operations Territory Lead

About the role

Wave is expanding its agent network across Côte d’Ivoire and needs a proactive leader to oversee product roll‑outs and day‑to‑day operations in a defined territory. Based in Abidjan, you will recruit, train and support agents, ensuring compliance, liquidity and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of agent openers to recruit, onboard and train new agents within the territory.
• Ensure all agents meet legal, policy and contractual requirements and are fully versed in application processes, rebalancing, fraud management and other operational topics.
• Work with the BTL team to provide branding materials and necessary supplies to agents.
• Monitor cash float and liquidity at agent locations in coordination with the liquidity team.
• Conduct regular field visits to assess performance, identify risks and address emerging issues.
• Close under‑performing agents, recover Wave equipment and remove branding where necessary.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the agency network, championing excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in Côte d’Ivoire.
• Based in Abidjan with willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
• Proven experience managing agent or distributor networks, preferably in financial services or payments.
• Strong understanding of compliance, risk management and operational training.
